The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers a four-year program leading to the B.Eng. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition, we have been offering an M.A.Sc. program since the academic year of 2014-2015.

In their first two years of undergraduate studies, students mainly take core courses in mathematics, physics and programming languages. Their last two years focus on professional courses in the areas of electronics, electromagnetics, electrical machinery, electronic communications and control systems. Undergraduate students are also offered a variety of elective courses such as neural networks, artifial intelligence, microwave filters, robotics, optical communications, renewable energy and computer architecture. Moreover, students participate in eight weeks of internship.

In graduate studies typical courses in the curriculum are adaptive signal processing, wavelets, cryptology, image processing, pattern recognition, adaptive control and radars.

Our research interests cover a wide range of fields, such as renewable energy, electromechanics, automation, telecommunications, biomedical systems, power electronics and driver systems.
